Suspend Account Feature

The DVD rental software has an account suspension feature in-built that helps the users to manage their accounts better and gives them more convenience of managing accounts when they are not around.

Using the 'Suspend account' feature the users can specify a duration of time in which they do not wish to be sent DVDs. This could be because of several reasons like they are not in town. While the account is suspended, the payment cycle for the user is also temprorily suspended and the user need not pay for that period of time. When the suspension period end, regular DVD rental payment starts for the user.

The DVD rental software ensures that the users have no DVDs with them at the time of suspension. The system also keeps track of how many members stay suspended and for how much time during a year.
