In either case a detailed payment report is maintained to track revenues by customer. The payment manager keeps track of payment types like late fee or fee paid for renting extra DVDs.  Rates for various plans and services can be changed by the admin.

The security deposits or first time membership fee can be managed and tracked through the manager. More payment types can be added and tracked in reports.
